Let me begin by saying that I am not racist. I have many friends from ethnicities aside from my own (for the record, I am caucasian). However, racism in America has turned into the greatest evil in the nation, and is one of the most overused terms in the English vocabulary.

Isn't it grand when a politician can simply say the word "racist" when he or she wants to destroy an opponent's chances? Even if the opponent is not racist in any way, they are immediately branded as such, as the American public usually simply believes what they are told by the usually liberal media, instead of doing research on the candidate. This has happened many times recently, as the Democratic Party has started to throw the race card into the Republicans' faces- we'll get to that later.

To begin, people tend to use such phrases as "African-American, Mexican-American" to keep from sounding racist. In fact, these terms are extremely racist in and of themselves. There is no such thing as an "African-American". I have never seen an "African-American" in my life. No matter what your race, gender, sexual or religious preference, if you are an American citizen, you are an AMERICAN. To use any other term is derogatory.

However, if you do wish to use other terms, you must apply the phrase "European-American" to all whites of European descent, and "Australian-American" if anyone's ancestors came from Australia. Sounds silly, doesn't it? Of course it does. Stop referring to someone as "African-American" or similar, and call them what they are. If they are citizens of an African nation, they are African. If they are legal citizens of the United States of America, they are American.

Sadly, some will think that this leads into the issue of illegal immigration. Yes, I understand that the only 'legal' citizens of America are the Native Americans. However, America was colonized in the days of colonization and imperial tendencies. In those days, military force was used to capture land from other nations. Not so in today's world. Today, there is little to no conquering of other states. Yet in America, illegal immigrants, mainly from Mexico, are continuously pouring in. The liberals say this is fine. They say that the "illegals" should be allowed to stay. I say fine. If they can pass a citizenship exam and the other requirements, let them stay. Otherwise, hit the big red deport button.

The liberals also want to extend welfare and other rights citizens have to illegals. But do the illegals have to pay taxes? No. Can they vote? Yes. If they become the majority of voters, do you not see what they will do? Once people understand that they can "vote" whatever they want from the government, the government will fall. America will fall. A country can only stand as long as the government remains more powerful than the citizens.

"But that means the liberals have it right with big government!" you may say. No. The liberals have a decent idea with big government, in that it may stay strong. However, the socialist tendencies of the Democratic party will weaken the government to a stage of collapse.

The Republicans have the answer. Stop catering to every single person's want and let nature take its course. One of the basic rules of nature is survival of the fittest. Only the strong survive, while the weak die off. While this may sound cruel, that is the way that the world works. Sadly, in the corrupted view of nature that resides in the human mind, it doesn't work that way.

Take a look at all the failed governments in the world. Notice that they all eventually decay into socialism. For example: Communism. Communism works by starting with a small government, that will eventually step down and then everyone will be equal. This decays into socialism, because those in power do not relinquish it voluntarily (usually). Capitalism. To use America as an example: we provide welfare, medical care, retirement money and numerous other services to the American public. That is socialism. Communism is not a bad thing, not in it's pure form. It makes everyone equal. Capitalism is good as well, as it only promotes growth by filing off weak points.

To continue debates about conservatives against liberals, and which party is more calm, cool, collected and fair, let me relay an anecdote from where I live. I live in a red county, in a blue township. This year we are having a race for prosecutor. The Republican candidate is a successful lawyer who practiced in the neighboring county for several years before moving back to this, her home county. The Democrat was not elected prosecutor; he instead got the job when the last prosecutor became judge, since he was the assisstant. He has proven himself incapable of prosecuting, as only a few of his hundreds of cases have ended in convictions.

Let me give an example of one of his cases before we move on. My county is filled with illegal drugs. It's been an unsolvable problem for over 20 years. This current prosecutor has had over 50 cases with illegal drugs, selling and making of, and with known drug manufacturers and sellers. None were convicted. On the other hand, the Republican has been involved with twice as many in our neighboring county, and has had almost all convicted. She is a much more capable prosecutor.

To continue, there was recently a Republican rally. The prosecutor candidate attended. While there, a group of democratic candidates and supporters approached her and accosted her, screaming about how worthless she was, and how horrible a human being she is. She was shocked, as were her parents, who were standing RIGHT THERE. Needless to say, the same thing has never happened at a Democrats rally.

What does this all have to do with racism? How did we get off subject? I'm not going to feed it to you. No, it's time to break the lazy habit. You have to decide for yourself.
