One of the biggest factors that affects your health but often gets overlooked is the mind. The health of your mind is vital to creating a positive and rewarding day to day reality. There are many different methods to help create a balanced mind but the two that in my experience work best are through thought control and brainwave meditation.
What is Thought Control?
Though control is when you are aware of every single thought that passes through your head. With your thoughts you are able to control how you shape your reality. The mind is an extremely powerful tool that can be used to your benefit or to your detriment.
Thoughts become habitual and if you begin to take note of each and every thought you think you may be a little bit surprised. You will notice some positive habitual thoughts and many negative habitual thoughts. The trick for a healthy mind is to turn each of your negative thoughts to positive thought forms.
Below are five key steps to change your thoughts, control your mind and create a healthier reality.
Step 1 - Intention
It is not easy to change old thought patterns. It is a commitment that you must make to yourself and therefore it is very important to set your intention. Be clear about what you want to accomplish and why. Think about your goal, write it down and say it out loud. In this way you are making a commitment to yourself to do whatever it takes to achieve health and balance.
Step 2 - Be Aware
Being aware of your thoughts all day long can be extremely exhausting. However before you can change them you must be conscious of what you are even thinking. Therefore it is extremely important that you are aware of your thoughts from the time you wake up until you go to sleep at night. Take note of what you think during different situations and around different people. Be careful not to judge your thoughts, just simply be aware.
Step 3 - Make the Switch
Now is the time to switch the negative thoughts to positive thoughts. Every time you catch yourself thinking something negative switch the thought to a positive. This can be difficult as you may not feel or believe the positive thought. That is okay just keep doing it as this is how you will eventually change your habit. Eventually you will create new thought patterns and the positive thoughts will become the habit as opposed to the negative ones.
Although difficult at first, this method becomes much easier as time goes on and is extremely effective in creating a healthy and positive reality.
Step 4 - Brainwave Meditation
Besides the above three steps you can also incorporate some simple brainwave meditation for quicker results. You can do this through extensive meditation practice, through yoga practice, or by listening to brainwave audios while meditating. In this way you are able to bypass the conscious mind and work directly with the subconscious mind.
This type of meditation allows you to tune your brain frequencies to the exact frequency levels that are helpful with dealing with stress, anxiety, negativity and well being. By combining brainwave meditation with the positive thinking and affirmations you will notice very significant results in your overall health and outlook on life.
Step 5 - Enjoy
The last step is simply to make sure you are taking the time to enjoy your new healthier way of thinking and lifestyle. It is a lot of work to balance out the mind and it is equally as important to make sure you are doing things that make you happy.
