The number of people who are logging on to their Facebook account each day is increasing. As there is an increase in the number of people using the site for various reasons, the maximum number seems to be hooked to the various games that are available on the site. The statistics say that there are many people who spend a major part of the day hooked on to these games. Is this a good sign? Probably not. The days when people used to play video games, they were considered to be addicted to these games. In those days, the games started and ended the minute the person lost in the game. The Facebook games are never ending. There are so many new additions to the games each day that people keep playing these games trying to outpace all the other players in the games.

It is very important that people try to get deaddicted. Every person who is addicted to these games need to get rid of their addiction as soon as possible. Though a person who plays the game may think that they are not addicted to the game and will be able to get over the game, it is not really possible. There are various implications for the person who is playing these games. There are certain health risks associated with playing for long hours. The people who play online games are prone to obesity. Other than this, they are also prone to other problems like vision problems and also general irritability. They do not complete their work on time and may also suffer from insomnia.

There are several methods that a person can use in trying to overcome the addiction to these online games that are becoming very popular.

1. Select another hobby:

If you try to start on another hobby that is more meaningful, then it would be a better option. There are times when you will not be able to do any other work because you will be engrossed in the game. On the other hand, if you select your own hobby, then you will be happy and at the same time, you will be able to do other work too.

2. Spend a particular time only for playing:

If you are still interested in playing online games, you need to make sure that you play for only a particular period of time. You may start playing and then decide on when you are going to end the session of play. This method of playing will ensure that you have time for doing all your other jobs too. There are people who will not be able to control the urge to play for some more time. These people should know that they are addicted to the game and should avoid starting to play again.

3. Spend time with your family:

If you have a family, try to spend time with your family instead of playing games. This will not only help your family to become closer and close knot, but will also help you to feel good. On the other hand, if you keep playing the online games for a long time, you will only start feeling guilty that you have wasted a lot of tome playing. So decide to curb the amount of time you spend in playing.
