Test Knowledge With an Audience Response SystemBY: audience responder | Category: Others | Submitted: 2010-06-28 23:49:21
In today's training and learning environment it is very difficult for training managers to determine if trainees understand the material covered especially in large groups. People may not have the confidence to speak up and explain that they do not understand a certain part of the training programme. Implementing an audience response into this environment can allow trainers to stop at a certain point and explain the material in a greater depth. This evidently increases the pass rate of the training requirements as individuals has a clearer and concise understanding of the material covered.
How the audience response system operates is that it works with normal Power point presentations and relevant questions can be asked that the audience can simply answer with electronic keypads. The results of these questions can automatically come up on the screen and analysis can be done on these. For example one question could be 'do you understand the material covered so far in this training programmers' and if ninety percent say 'do not understand' then this is grounds for the training manager to return to the material and cover this topic again.
Implementing audience response system's for training is continuing to grow and expand due to the cost savings and the simplicity of the technology. There are lots of vendors of such systems available on the marketplace. One company who has just launched a new revamped website is Audience Responder™.
