Niagara Falls is known as the honeymoon capital. It is one of the most visited tourist spots in the world where millions of tourists gather every year to enjoy the scenic beauty of this great water fall. The Niagara Falls is associated with two cities from two countries. The major part of it is in Ontario in Canada and the New York in the United States. You can go there from both countries; however the Canadian side is more popular to the tourists because of its easy access and wide area. Beside the falls, there are many things to see near and around the Niagara Falls. The Great Gorge Advance Pass is one of the most thrilling attractions with several important views including the Maid of the Mist, White Water Walk and Journey Behind the Falls. Maid of the Mist In this tour, the visitor can actually go at the foot of the falls. From there, it is easier to view and enjoy the thunder of the water fall and the spray. The thirty minutes tour is really exclusive and a life time experience. Without this tour, your journey to the Maid of the Mist would be incomplete. White Water Walk The White Water Walk is a side walk beside the fall with great scenic beauty which is open through the whole year for the tourist. The thousand feet boardwalk will give you a very exciting pleasure. Journey Behind the Falls This is another walk way to enjoy the beauty of the falls. This is close in December and opens for the rest of the year. Every tourists of the Niagara Falls take a visit to this place to increase their thrill. The Marineland Theme Park The Marineland Theme Park is another loved place by the tourists. This Theme park has a nice collection of underwater faunas including dolphins, beluga whales and killer whales. There is also an amusement park which is appreciated by the tourists. The entry in the park is not restricted and with a fee, everyone can take a visit inside the park. Butterfly Conservatory The Butterfly Conservatory is a great place to visit even if you are not interested in the falls. In the conservatory, you will find over two thousand butterflies which are surrounded inside a beautiful garden. This place is as well admired by the visitors as by the photographers. Other places Among the other places near the Niagara Falls that you can enjoy are: the Whirlpool Aero Car, Skylon Tower, Niagara Skywheel, Clifton Hill Amusement Area, Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens, Bird Kingdom, Brick City, Floral Clock, Queenston Heights Park and an IMAX Theater. Beside these places to go, there are some events to do including the Winter Festival of Lights, Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours, Helicopter Tours, Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort, Casino Niagara, Fallsview Indoor Watrepark, Queen Street Arts and Cultural District and the Attractions of Clifton Hill. With all these exclusive places, your tour in Niagara Falls would be really amazing.
