The power saving mode is built into the computer itself for these situations where you might be traveling and you need to have very less power being drained from your computer.

4. Close multiple windows:

There are many people who open multiple windows on the computer screen, though you work with only one or two. All these excess windows that have been opened should be closed if you want to save more power in your laptop.

5. Brightness of screen:

The brightness of the screen can be reduced, especially if you are working on the laptop in a room that is well lit or if you are in the daylight. This will also make sure that you are able to save the power in your laptop batteries without having them drained off.

6. Carry two batteries:

In case you are traveling for a long distance, then the safest method of making sure that you have your computer to use is to carry another battery that is fully charged. This will help you to have a long usage of your computer.
