Famous for its rich culture and heritage France has always been a top tourist attraction. Apart from the enriched cultural side, the mountain ranges, coastlines of this country add a special appeal on its natural beauty. The famous tourist destinations of France are scattered all across the country. Paris: Paris offers you an endless choice of visiting places. Being renowned for its cosmopolitan culture and architectural heritage, Paris is one of the four global cities of the world. On the top of the endless destinations is Eiffel Tower- one of the greatest modern architectural masterpieces. In 1889 the famous engineer Gustave Eiffel designed and built this monument. From the top of this tower you can enjoy the stunning beauty of the whole city but for that you have to cover 1,665 steps. This tower has two world class restaurants, souvenir shop, bar and a replica of the Gustave Eiffel's office. After the Eiffel Tower comes the famous Louvre Museum. It is the largest museum of the world which has a full spectrum of art through ages. Arts from all over the world and from all civilizations are displayed here starting from the Egyptian, Greek, Roman to the Western. The masterpiece of the world famous painting Mona Lisa by the world famous Italian artist Leonardo Da Vinci is the most popular attraction of this museum. Apart from this two spots Paris also have the 12th century's Notre Dam Cathedral a master piece of Gothic architecture. The city has most magnificent avenue of the world called Avenue des Champs-Elysees. The avenue is 2 kilometers long and 10 meters wide. During the evening and night it would be a great experience fro anyone to walk through this splendid avenue. Other special tourist spots in Paris include Sacre Coeur, Musee d'Orsay, Cente Geoges Ponpidou, Arc de Triomphe, Rodin Musium, Picasso Museum etc. Nice: As Paris is world famous for its cultural and architectural beauty. Nice is famous for its scenic beauty. The city has world class beaches and elegant culture. Although the city is mainly famous for the natural beauty, it also has world class museums. When you are in Nice do not forget to visit the Cours Saleya Flower Market- one of the worlds biggest flower market and leading tourist attraction of Nice. You can enjoy the Italian essence in Nice by visiting Vieux Nice. The Italian architecture and cuisine of this old town is very popular among tourists. This place is also the best for shopping. Other places like Matisee Museum, Promenade des Anglais, Russian Cathedral are also very attractive spots. Marseille: Marseille is another city of tourist attraction. This city also has some very popular places to visit. Basilique Notre Dame la Grade is one of them. It is a 19th century Romano Byzantine style basilica and the major tourist spot of Marseille. The breathtaking sunset view from this place is really unforgettable. Marseille also have a beautiful 16th century fortress named Chateau d'If, the historical Vieux Port, Musee des Beaux Arts and many other beautiful and historical places.
