News is the communication of information on current events which is presented by print, broadcast, Internet or word of mouth to a third party or mass audience. Newsworthiness is defined as a subject having sufficient relevance to the public or a special audience to warrant press attention or coverage.

The news plays a vital role in human affairs. The importance of news has been increased greatly by the spread of education. Education sharpens one's curiosity about events in distant lands.

The news should, however, be lived with caution, for its capacity to do harm is great. Most people believe everything that is reported by the news agencies. On the other hand, if the policy of the news agency is to promote the welfare of the people, it could do a lot of good. For example, it could exercise its influence to persuade the government of a country to do many things for the benefit of the people. In a country like Malaysia, where there are many races of people, the newspaper could also use its influence to promote good-will and harmony among the people.
TVS Electronics stock was among the top gainers after its price went up by nearly 10 percent. After opening the day at Rs. 28.15, the stock touched its 52 week high of Rs. 35, before closing trade at Rs. 28.10, with a gain of 10.32 percent. Through the day, 1,05,205 shares of TVS Electronics were traded in the market.

TVS Electronics is an India-based company. The Company is engaged in the business of transaction automation information technology (IT) products and solutions. Its principal products include computer peripherals and IT management services.

During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2010 (fiscal 2010), the Company's production/purchases of computer peripherals was 283,497 numbers. Its plant is located in Dehradun, Uttarkhand. Its ultimate holding company is Sundaram-Clayton. The Company's subsidiaries include Tumkur Property Holdings Limited and Prime Property Holdings.
