Spain is one of the most beautiful European countries and known as the house of many famous football clubs The Major cities of Spain include Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Granada and Valencia. The most popular tourist destinations include Costa Brava, Costa Blanca, Costa Dorda, Costa del Sol, Majorca, Ibiza, Minorca and most of these are holiday destinations and tourist spots.


Madrid is the capital of Spain and a cosmopolitan city. This city is a legacy of the fascination history. In the aristocratic centre of Madrid, a combination of Baroque and 17th century Classical style, the stunning Royal Palace is situated. Plaza de Oriente, opera house and modern Almudena Cathedral is situated next to the palace.

Art and culture are the centre of the Madrid life. Here you can visit the wolrd's greatest art galleries, the Prado Museum. The marvelous beaches, friendly climate and snowy mountain make this place a perfect tourist destination. Do not forget to visit the Alhambra in Granada. It is an incredible Moorish fortified palace. It would take a whole day to visit the entire palace. In the summer it would be better to buy the tickets in advance.

Antoni Gaudi and Luis Domenech I Montaner- the two most popular Catalan architects designed many emblematic buildings of Barcelona. For example the Parc Guell, designed by Antoni Gaudi, is large park containing numerous buildings and sculpture. Visiting this park will be a great day out for anyone of all ages. Barcelona is a historic city and still possesses the essence of its great history.


The symbol of Bilbao is the Guggenheim Museum designed by an American architect Frank O. Gehry. This a great place to view the modern and contemporary art pieces. You can also visit the Arriaga Theatre which was built in 1890 and inspired by the Paris opera house. Cultural activities like theatre performance, opera, concerts, ballet etc go on in this theatre house all year round.

Enjoy your day by having tapas, which a unique Spanish thing to do. It is great Spanish way for passing the evening, by eating tapas while you have a drink in any road side bar or restaurant.

Do not miss the chance of watching live football match of world's greatest players in a single match. Real Madrid, Barcelona are the most top rated clubs of football fraternity now and almost all of the famous stars are paying in either of these clubs.

To point out the specific few tourist destinations in Spain is a very hard and nearly impossible task since this country is land of marvel and you can explore a new wonder at any corner of Spain.
