There is nothing much to say about Switzerland. Everybody knows and accept the fact that it is the most beautiful place on earth. It is the ultimate tourist destination in the whole world and there is no tourist who does not wish to visit the country at least once in their lifetime. Everything, including the mountains, the lakes, the forests and the landscape, about Switzerland is amazing.

In Switzerland, you will need a long time to travel the whole country. The cities of the country are as beautiful as the nature and worth visiting. For example, you cannot escape the cities like Zurich, Geneva, Berne and Basel. On the other hand, the natural wonders like the Lake Geneva, mount Alps, Aletsch Glacier and the Rhine Falls cannot be missed by any means.

Cities

Zurich is probably the most important banking place in the world. It is the biggest city in the country and one of the smartest in Europe. The nightlife in Zurich attracts all of its guests. Geneva is the centre of cultural activities of the country. It is the second largest city in the country. The city has over two hundred important local and international offices including some of the headquarters of the UN and its associates.

Berne is the capital of Switzerland and one of the smartest and well designed cities in the world. You can have a very good time in the bars and restaurants in the city in parallel to touring around numerous tourist sites inside the town. Basel is the third largest city in Switzerland which is mostly known for its economic perforce for the country. But the city is more famous for its relation with the world famous Swiss watch industry.

Sites

In Switzerland, you must pay a visit to the Lake of Geneva, or the Geneva Lake. It is one of the largest lakes in Western Europe. The lake is magnificent and full with science beauty. The towns around the lake are also tourist spots because of their differential lifestyle.
The Jungfrau and Eiger are the names of two mountains of the Alps and very popular among the tourists. The Alps is one of the most favorite places for skiing among the fans. The Aletsch Glacier is the longest glacier in Europe and has a nice wild forest above the glacier. The Rhine Falls is the largest in the whole Europe. You can have an exciting boat tour in the middle of the falls.

Swiss Products

Switzerland is the pioneering county in several industries. It is the world's number one watch manufacturer with most of the luxury watch brands. Even the many of brands that do not run their business from Switzerland; use the Swiss parts, technology and craftsmanship in their watches.

Swiss chocolate is world famous. With some exceptions, the country is counted as the producer of best tested chocolates.

The Swiss army knife is another one in the world production from the country. In your tour in Switzerland, you can get one of those which may be proven handy later in the tour.
