Chevrolet Tavera launched in India by world's one of the most renowned automobile companies, General Motors in 2004. The front side of the car is uplifted by a slopping hood and single bar front grille with a gold Chevy bow-tie symbol mounted on it. The horizontal headlights and tail lamps have added an extra attracting to its muscular appearance. The sufficient legroom and head room along with highly comfortable cushioned seats make this car very cozy for the passenger.
The exterior dimension of the car includes length of 4435 mm, width of 1680 mm and a height of 1765 mm. The wheel base of the car is 2685 mm with a weight of 2335 to 2375 kg and a turning radius of 5.6 m.
The interior of the car is very thoughtfully designed. It includes lavish root wood finish trimming on the dash and gear knob, large rear cabin lamp, and triple row air-conditioning. The front seats have ample space for the tall drivers, on the second row there is sufficient space available as well and the third row offers the least specious seats.
Ride and Handling:
This car can be easily driven in both highways and rough terrain. The ventilated disc and caliper front brake, self adjusting rear and telescope type steering system make this car very user friendly. The steering is very even and easy at low speeds. The well-balanced and smooth ride quality is ensured by the advanced suspension system.
Chevrolet Tavera offers highly efficient safety features. The safety features of the car includes child lock system, seat belts for both front and rear seats, passenger cell with crumple front zones, side impact beams and many more. The front brakes endow with a better stopping power.
Variants, price and Color:
Chevrolet Tavera BASE, Neo and Neo-2 are the three main variants available of this car. These variants are available in six different colors. These are Casablanca white, blazing red, cashmere, icy blue, dazzling silver and intense black. The price of this car in approximately Rs. 6.10 lakhs.
