Well settled career after completing the education creates a thought of self confidence and job satisfaction.This booming edge of Information Technology occuring as a subset of Computer Science continuously demands the talents which can ultimately lead the organization to the tip of zenith.However,it is another matter of fact that the mentality of the people differs from one another in the sense that different people inspite of having the same body construction and education have different interests to build their carrier upon.Total reflection of the education with career of the children cannot be predicted even by the parents or by Jyotish Gurus. It totally depends upon the flow of mentality and demand of professionals by the current job market in India. Confusion cannot even be generated at all inside us relating to the fact that a Government job must be preferred in place of Private jobs by the youths. This is because well settled government employees in reputed organizations holding prestigious posts as per their qualifications are serving their own country by their individual talents and have always a secured future and social repute. Private companies merely have a thought for their individual progresses at any cost. They cannot compromise with the problems of employees and even cannot grant leaves and other specific facilities even after a lot of their individual servings of years in that particular private company.This embarrassing situation basically arises owing to the fact that most of the private companies are multinational companies and hence they do not want to have any emotional and sympathetic attachment with the employees.All such facts must be noticed by the indian youths and they must get themselves prepared to serve the country by serving the jobs generated by the Indian governments.

Plenty of jobs are consistently being generated by the different departments of Indian Government at regular intervals keeping in view the various educational qualifications and experiences in different fields of specialization. However, one of the most prestigious and challenging carrier option can be viewed by opting to build the career as ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (AAO) IN GOVERNMENT INSURANCE SECTORS. Such sectors includes LIC, GIC, NIC etc which guarantees a well settled carrier for entire lifetime with all the essential and attractive facilities.Work involves freeing the superior to focus on critical demands by performing a variety of administrative support functions under minimal direction. An employee in this class is responsible for liaison and public relations assignments which include contact with the public, officials and top-level management. Incumbents may supervise an administrative support staff or serve as team leader on special projects.

Eligibility criteria for Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO):--


Age - A minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 30 years as on 1 April of the year of the examination. Upper age is relaxable for SC/ST, OBC, persons from Short service Commission, and employees of the related insurance sectors etc. There are some other categories which also enjoy relaxation in age limit.

Educational Qualifications - A degree in graduation from any of the recognized universities of India. Computer related degrees/diploma will be an additional and desirable qualification.

Skills and Attributes - The test is designed to evaluate the linguistic proficiency in English, numerical ability, reasoning ability and knowledge of current affairs.

Recruitment Procedure - Recruitment is through two tier examination. The first part comprises of a written examination where as the second part consists of personality test for candidates who qualify the written examination.

AAO Written Exam Pattern :--

Paper I (Multiple Choice Questions)

*Reasoning Ability (Bilingual)
*General Knowledge and Current Affairs (Bilingual)
*Numerical Ability (Bilingual)
*English Language with special emphasis on grammar and vocabulary

Paper II (Descriptive Nature)

*Test on Essay (can be written in Hindi or English)
*Précis and Comprehension in English

The second part comprises of an interview cum personality test, for those candidates who have cleared the written examination.

Details of booming and challenging works performed by an Administrative Officer inside the organizations includes the following:--

**The primary focus of this position is to manage the administrative tasks that are required to ensure the smooth operation of a firm or an organization.

**AAOs can select any of the areas from Administration, Development and Accounts. While the AAOs (Administration) manage policy making, policy claims up to certain limit, inspecting clauses and details, filing official returns and statements to higher regional offices etc.

**Coordinates daily activities for a unit. Determines which information requires immediate attention of the executive, and delegates or refers other matters to various staff and departments. Attends meetings in the executive's absence.

**Coordinates office services, such as personnel, budget, and records management control.

**Supervises, recruits and trains specialized and administrative support personnel; and assigns, reviews and evaluates their work.

**Performs office management duties; oversees the maintainence of personnel and fiscal records. Manages grant proposals and submissions. Prepares financial reports, reviews purchases, vouchers and other financial documents.

**Responsible for the procurement of supplies; maintenance of inventory records; including supervision of staff performing these functions.

**Interprets statutes, regulations, policies and procedures and communicates the interpretation to the general public and high level officials, such as judges, attorneys and law enforcement personnel.

**Reviews and recommends technological and procedural changes to ensure compliance with policy and improve work processes.

**Advises other department heads and executes administrative policies at the direction of the executive.

**Represents the agency by planning, coordinating and/or participating in meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences, and in-service training sessions or related activities in the agency executive's absence.

**Completes technical tasks in human resource area(s) such as EEO, new employee orientation, position management, recruitment, and/or benefits.

**Enters and manipulates data and information in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications by creating word processing templates and form letters, macros and functions, or tables. May maintain web pages.

**Serves as a lead worker on special projects.

**Prepares correspondence for executive review and signature.
