There are thousands of cars being manufactured around the world each day. The manufacturing of cars has made people to buy more than one car in the family. In fact some of the families who have a lot of money have more than two cars too. The usual life of a car is about 10 to 15 years, but after that the car has to be scrapped.

Many people do not actually scrap their car, but recycle it because of the advantages that are related to the recycling and also because you can actually make money from the scrapping of your cars. There are various parts of the car that can be recycled and used again. Most people who have used cars and want to dispose the car do not actually know about the methods of recycling the car and this is the main reason for the person not disposing the car in the right method.

Advantages of recycling the car:

1. Save money:


When you recycle your car, you are not wasting your car that you have been using for a long time. Instead, you are actually using it to the maximum for a purpose better than it served.

2. Protect the environment and reduce carbon footprint:

If you send the car to the scrap yard, your car will immediately be crushed and then sold off. All the materials in the car other than the metal are all usually wasted, but there are a lot of things that can be salvaged and this will help you to protect the environment from being damaged by doing your part for the surroundings. Similarly, you can also reduce your carbon footprint by recycling the car.

There are various parts of the car that can be recycled and they include the following:

1. Batteries:


The car battery has different fluids and each of these can be reused. The wiring and even the other material in the car battery can be put to better use by recycling them or reusing them.

2. Car seats:

The car seats can also be used for better purposes. There are different materials that are used in the car seats. Leather, wood and even the padding that are used in the car seat can be used for various purposes. Even if they are not reused, the seats and other material can be recycled to make other things.

3. The metal:

The metal that is used in the car is the one that is commonly used or recycled. There are different kinds of metals that are used and if you would like to separate them, then you can do so, if not, the metal can be crushed and then the scrap metal can be reused for better purposes.

4. There are many other smaller parts in the car also that can be recycled too and you should make sure that you try to do the best possible effort in recycling. This will help you to feel a lot more satisfied for making the best use of your car.
