A place in the Andhra Pradesh chitoor district called Tirumala is a holy place for Darshan. The place is known for the temple of Sri Venkateswara. The god of kaliyuga is lord Venkateswara. The temple is a self manifested idol of vekatesa. The other names of the lord are balaji and srinivasa and many more. The temple is on the venkatadri hill which is one of the hills out of the seven hills over there.

The temple is well known as the richest and most visited in the world. The largest percentage of people who know about the lord will definitely visit the place. Per day 50,000 to 1, 00,000 pilgrims visit the temple. This is a number on normal days when it is festive season like Brahmotsavam the number may increase to 5, 00,000.

The temple has a great history about the lord. The history tells that the lord is self manifested to save the kaliyuga people. It is really unbelievable when it comes for the blessing from god. When we pray for something that we need, we get that within a short period of time. He is a powerful lord. It is believed that every wish from our end gets fulfilled within a short period of time.

It is believed that we need to put money in the hundi according to our capacity. If we tonsure our hair it is good for us. Most of the people wish and in return drop money in the hundi or tonsure their hair. There are different ways of showing our love towards god.
The place is really a peaceful one. If we visit the place itself we feel very happy and cool there. It is a really a perfect holy place. The seven hills, lake, other temples of Hanuman, Ganesha, Laksmi Devi, and Govindraj are really wonderful to visit. Once we enter the temple we feel such as we are in the heaven. The Darshan system, prasadam etc are really good.
Most of the people from all corners of the globe visit the place. There are lot of pujas are performed. The lovable sevas of the lord are performed. The deity Annamaya is famous for his poets for the lord balaji. If we visit the place once we will know a lot of historical things and their impact in the present scenario.

To maintain all the activities there is a official board of trustees. That is called as TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam). It takes care of all the activities of temple, and other related queries, complaints, suggestions, etc of the temple and Tirupati.
In one sentence it can be said as the Holy place to visit.
