Mitsubishi Lancer is manufactured jointly by Japanese auto maker Mitsubishi Motors and Indian auto maker Hindustan Motors for Indian roads. The acceleration of this variant can achieve 100 kilometers per hour in 17 seconds with a top speed of 155 kilometers per hour. The optimum power ratio of Mitsubishi Lancer is 87/1010 bhp/ kg. This ratio assures an excellent stability of the engine.
The fuel tank capacity of both variants is 50 liters. The petrol variant offers mileage of 2 kilometer per liter in city and 16 kilometer per hour on highway. On the other hand, the diesel engine offers mileage of 13 kilometer per liter on city road and on highway 18 kilometer per liter.

The car offers cozy and peaceful roomy cabin space along with generous luggage space. It provides sufficient legroom and headroom for the occupants. The exterior dimension includes an overall length of 4290 mm, width of 1690 mm and height of 1430 mm. The wheelbase of Mitsubishi Lance is 2500 mm with a ground clearance of 185 mm. the total kerb weight of the car varies between 1010 to 1125 kg depending on the model.
The safety features of Mitsubishi Lancer comprises of sturdy cabin structure, centrally located fuel tank, ventilated disc brakes, collapsible steering column and front and rear crushable zones. These zones absorb the impact energy very effectively in case of front and rear collision.
The price of the car lies between Rs 7.33 to Rs 8.11 depending on various options.
