I am not a big fan of gaming but this Wii gaming truly impressed me. I happen to experience playing Wii at one of my friends house on a get-together, and now I am a fan of it. I played simulated tennis game and the bowling game of Wii and I really did not realize that I have been playing for 4 hrs. Also, with the big, flat screen HD TV hooked up with this Wii gaming was an awesome experience! Wii (pronounced as "we") is a gaming system produced by the company Nintendo, a computer software giant based in Kyoto, Japan. They have produced several home and video game consoles and released their product Wii in the year 2006. Wii is a hot gaming gadget that has created an unprecedented demand. The record released last week shows that Wii sales is up 37 percent compared to September 2007. The competitors being Microsoft Xbox and Sony PlayStation. Ever since it's release, Wii has been creating waves world wide. It is in great demand and sells out as soon as they are stocked in the stores. The Wii is truly different one from the regular ones, where people just sit in one place, glued to the screen and breaking the keys in key board. Wii is a video game that provides a simple, intuitive entertainment experience that an entire family can actually enjoy together. Wii Gaming is no more a couch potato image, where it requires players movement. It is a portable electronic gaming device that has brought the revolution in the gaming process.These games controlled by body movements are highly interactive and a whole lot fun to play with the entire family. The device comes with a wireless remote and a game with audio and video effects. The controls used in this gaming are intuitive and easy to use. The main controller is like the TV remote, that is designed cordless which you need to point it to the TV screen. You can wave the controller to produce action on the screen. The menu is more user-friendly. On most menu screens, you can point the controller 'New game' in the menu and click on start. In a tennis game, you wait for the ball to come to you, then swing your arm as if you are swinging a tennis racket. The signature game controller responds to users body movements. The gamers can easily feel the sound of the left and the right speakers during their playing session. This feature can facilitate the players in their gaming process. Wii sports and Wii play are one of the popular games among all ages. Yes, it is really true. I would say, Wii as a means of exercise motive. The repetitive motions in the tennis and bowling gives the muscles enough workout. This bridges the gap between the entertainment gaming and fitness communities. Such games are really good stress-busters. Wii also has fitness style games like doing strenuous balancing exercises, push-ups, skiing, hula loops and yoga. This innovation is really appealing to all ages. Yes, parents and even grandparents can experience it. You can enjoy the multi-player gaming options on them. I read a news that said, "It's possible future surgeons will enter op theatres with fine motor skills acquired by playing the Nintendo -Wii- (Marble Mania).-Wiihabilitation-, uses Wii as rehab therapy for patients recovering from strokes, surgery and injuries. - With Wii, the gaming world is really changing. With over 40 categories it is a huge hit among all ages of people and different category of gaming.
