There are various websites dedicated to writers and for writing. Not all of these pay the writers. There are some that either pays the writer directly or the clients who advertise writing opportunities on these web sites pay the writers.

The reason some web sites do not pay the writers is because these sites give the opportunity for writers to expose their talents. Writing on such websites help the writer to build their resume. They also have a link to their writing and it will help them to actually advertise their talents.

The websites that do not pay may be relatively new ones. These websites even while not paying the writer, gives an opportunity for the writer to show their talents. It also serves as a platform to launch their writing career.

The reason why certain websites pay is because, they might not be dealing directly with the writers. The website may be having a lot of clients who post writing opportunities that are posted in the pages. Writers then either bid to write these articles or are assigned to write certain articles based on the merits of the writer.

Once the work is completed, both the writer and the website are paid by the client. The writer is paid for writing the article. The website is paid a commission or a part of the writers fee for hosting the job. It is again a win-win situation for the writer, the client and the web site owner.

Certain other web sites do not directly pay the writers. They share the revenue they earn from the advertisements put on the web pages by either google or other such companies. Google Adsense revenue is one of the most common rewards that writers get for writing in many web sites. The reward can be either a percentage of the revenue earned in the web page with the writing or any other method that may differ from site to site.

Some web sites also directly pay the writers for each article or blog that is written. There are professional bloggers who write either on their own blogs or the blogs of another website for which they are paid. They can be paid as much as $25 for each blog entry, if the blog drives a lot of traffic and increases the google Adsense revenue.

These are the reasons why some websites pay and their methods of payment. Good writers get paid more. The writers who are patient and work hard are sufficiently rewarded on the internet.
