Why are number of gay people more in developed countries?BY: Muhammed Haris | Category: Relationships | Post Date: 2009-07-25
The number of gay people are found more in developed countries than that of developing or under developed countries. It can be because of the following reasons; 1. In developed countries fashion and body exposure has been practiced liberally and widely. Their culture and the concept of too much independence in life does not oppose this behaviour. So the indecent exposure by girls becomes very common citing for the boys. It transforms boys to lose interest about girls much earlier in their life. These young boys and girls may even do sex so early in their life that the value of having relationship with opposite sex may totally die out. But in the developing countries a boy does not have so much opportunity to expereince this indecent exposure. So he retains the interest with the girls. Especially in traditional countries, girls remain as a precious thing in the minds of boys. So they keep the excitement of marrying a girl. 2. The culture of open sex makes girls to experience sex in their teenage and so boys do not believe in girl's virginity and health. But in developing since there is little scope of having sex at their teenage, boys believe in girl's virginity and health. 3. Since there is no physical attraction because of above mentioned reasons, the co-ordination between a boy and girl does not often succeeded. On the other hand, relationship between a boy and boy could possibly have better co-ordination. But in developing countries, since boys and girls retain the mutual attraction, there lies a good co-ordination. 4. In developed countries, marriage is the self decision of a young person who is going to marry. So they have the scope of opting to be a gay or straight (marrying a girl / opposite sex). But in developing countries most of marriages happen with mutual understanding of the parents. So a boy or a girl hardly has the opportunity to oppose it. 5. In developing countries dowry system motivates a boy to marry a girl. 6. In developing countries, marriages are considered as a most respected tie up, which may not so in all developed countries.
