India is a unique country in many ways. India is a cultural paradise. There are so many cultures that have united into the country called India. There are many things that international tourists may not be able to understand when they hear about India. Only when they see and feel the India by visiting the country do they really comprehend what Indian life is all about.

The people of India:
India is a blend of various groups of people. There are many states in India and most of these states have unique languages that are spoken there. In fact within each state the dialects and accents may be different. India is unique because just like the variation in the language, each of the states has a unique culture too. Each state people have their own dance forms and dressing style. These are unique to that particular state and culture.

Peace and tranquillity :
If a person travels from one state to another, it is like travelling from one country to another. The variation is so obvious. There are various other interesting facts that are related to India. It is known as a fact that India in its history has never invaded another country. This is evident even today from the fact that the people of India are generally peaceful and like it that way. There are some elements that are anti social. These people try to disturb the peace, but the state and its people are averse to the fighting

Taj Mahal and its splendour:
India has various monuments that are famous the world over. One of the most important and magnificent building is the Taj Mahal. This is a monument that was built by Shah Jahan for his wife. It is a testament of one man's love for his wife. Though this was built hundreds of years back, it has stood the test of time and is considered one of the best monuments in India.

India and it's economy:
India is growing to become an economic force to reckon with. The growth of Indian economy is on the fast track. The Indian companies are becoming globalised and are becoming larger by merging and acquiring other companies. India is the largest exporter of software products and exports are done to many countries around the world.

Indian film industry:
The film industry in India is again unique. This is because the country produces many hundreds of movies in a many languages. These cater to people of different states depending on the language of the state.

Indian medicine:
There are various other important aspects of India like the surgeries that were conducted in ancient India. India is also the home of some of the most commonly used traditional and alternative medicines including Ayurveda and Yoga. Many herbal medicines also had their origin in India.

Mathematics and India:
India is also the home of many famous mathematicians. The country was also the origin of the decimal system of numbering and also trigonometry, algebra and calculus.
