Is there an ongoing itching in your anus, is there a slight trace of blood on the toilet paper or are their slight signs of fissures, cracks or rash. Common problems due why persisting itching can occur are skin inflammation, fungal infection, bacterial infection, STD's, piles, hemorrhoids, intestinal worms and most common anal fissures. All of these conditions can cause bottom itching. In every condition, your doctor is the best person to consult. There are several things that may help you get some relief. Sometimes cracks can occur because of a hard and large stool. Most of anal fissures which cause itching heal themself in just a few weeks time.

To control anal fissures and itching use can use these techniques to get some relief:

1. STOP SCRATCHING HARD:
The first reaction to anal itching is that people start scratching their anus hard and often with a finger, a with long nail. This is the worst thing you can do, it will increase your skin inflammation or widen your anal fissures even more. Anus (asshole) is made of tender skin which can easily be damaged.

2. USE PETROLEUM JELLY:
It is a good idea to lubricate your anus with petroleum jelly. I know it may fell gross but that may help you quite a bit, it may even help your stool to pass through more easily.

3. TAKE PLENTY OF FIBER AND WATER:
If you take enough liquids and have a fiber rich diet, it will really help to make your stool soft. This will help to heal up your anal fissures faster and prevent any further damage.

4. USE TALCUM POWDER:
Using a talcum powder or other anti-itch powders prescribed by your doctor. Powders are quite helpful to keep anus dry and less itchy.

5. GENTLE WIPING:
Use a very good quality soft toilet paper and wipe the anus gently after you are done. You can even put some drops of mild water on your toilet paper to clean the area for a better relief.

6. AVOID SPICY FOOD:
Although eating spicy food itself does not cause anal fissures but when the stool containing traces of those spices passes along, it can cause burning sensation in the area which is already itching.

7. HYDROCORTISONE CREAM:
Some creams which contain hydrocortisone can provide lot of relief. You can first take a warm water shower or sit in the tub, then later apply this cream with the consent from your doctor.

8. IT COULD BE ALLERGIES:
Sounds funny, but yes in some cases it may just be because of an allergic reaction. See what you have been eating lately or other environmental changes.

9. KEEP YOURSELF CLEAN:
Prevention is always the best approach. Always keep your bottom clean. Anal infections are often caused when anus is not cleaned well because of carelessness or lack of time. If you work in an environment which causes you sweat quite a bit, then it may be a wise decision to take a short shower before you go to the bed. Sweat in anal area can cause infections.

10. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE ANAL ITCH:
Itchy anus may just be a self healing problem, but often it can be a very serious health problem. If your anal fissures do not heal in a few weeks and your condition worsens it may even be a warning sign of anal cancer. It is safe then to be sorry later.

Itching and pain be gone!
Itching and pain be gone! I found a solution to Anal Itch in the Bathroom Bidet Sprayers they use in Thailand. Every doctor will tell you that you need to clean but the key is you need to do it without irritating the skin. Difficult to accomplish when you have an itch that is just begging to be scratched. But cleaning with a water spray does just that and it is easy, convenient and no one need know what you are using it for. Toilet paper irritates the skin and the more you rub, the more you itch. I bought mine at www.bathroomsprayers com and installed it myself.
