Web Scams are increasing day by day. Internet has been a place where lot of confidential data has been given. Though the security has been provided for the confidential data, the internet as a whole is accesses by universal public people as a whole. It has given scope for scams. Information Technology has been a subject being taught and studied world wide. Even the security measures, methods and tools are knows to the people. It as provided the scope to break the security established on the internet servers. Many financial transactions are happening through the internet. Transfer of money through net banking, payment for the goods and services etc transaction requires one to give confidential data. These confidential data has been supposed to be much secured. But these confidential data has been traced through hacking. Hacking has been practiced as a hobby by many people. Hacking has also been used as a tool to earn illegal money through breaking the security of bank accounts and credit cards. Many payment options require the customers to give the credit card number and the online shopping code for it. These confidential data has been hacked and those numbers have been used to do shopping using another person's account or card details. Personal details given on the internet is not so secured. Even there can be Private Health Information (PHI) given to insurance companies. Even this information is at the scope of hacking. So Internet has to be used very cautiously. The information can be given only after analyzing the security of the confidential data. The owners of the websites should make to be saved very safe to protect the interests of the public.
