Everybody leads a busy life and needs some relaxation of mind and body. When we visit an outdoor place, all the family members will get entertainment. The visit to a theme park will bring refreshment in life and it is a great entertainment also. The theme parks are popularly known as amusement parks. In such parks there are lots of rides like giant wheel, coaster, games and stalls selling eatables such as popcorn, soft drink and cotton candy. The theme park should have amusement for children, teenagers and adults. We can say that a theme park is a type of amusement park having entertainment for all type of people and which has been built around one or more themes. The main purpose of theme park is recreation. The very old amusement park is Bakken and it is situated at Klampenborg, north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The famous theme park of today is Disneyland of California and within this amusement park, there are several theme parks such as Fantasyland, Tomorrowland etc. Sometimes, to entertain people, temporary theme parks are set up in vacant place, apart from fixed location. These temporary amusement parks are present for a few days or weeks per year to help the people to covey the feeling of being in different place or time. In a theme park there will be various sections telling different stories. In a theme park, all the rides go all with the theme of the park. The Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World belongs to this group. We can teach the children and ask questions about theme park before and after making a visit. Before visiting a theme park, we should get an idea about it through friends who already visited it. We may get interesting information regarding theme parks by surfing through internet. If possible, we can get a map to visit the theme park which are available in yahoo maps, maps.com, mapquest etc. The health condition should be good for visiting a theme park. The things to be taken for visiting a theme park are cellphone, cameras, sun glasses, a spare dress for children, towels, eatables and drinks. In some theme parks, outside food is not allowed. These points are to be checked, before starting the journey. We have to take enough money also, as the expenses will be high, while visiting a theme park. The advance booking is made in theme parks, so that we need not stand in queue to buy ticket. For visiting places inside the theme park also, maps are available for guidance. The choice of children has to be taken for visiting the places and taking rides in theme park. The parents should keep an eye on children always, inside the theme park as there be huge crowd. We need not compel the children to go on ride of our choice. If we have any medical problems, we should not go on rides. Once in a while, don't forget to relax. One of the best places to visit, to refresh our mind and body is theme park. The people of all ages will go to childhood days, when they enter a theme park. We can fill up the diary with pleasant memories of visiting a theme park, the fragrance of which will remain forever.
