The real world has become boring in the recent past. The monotony of work and household has been plaguing people for a long time. How about a world where you have the say? You decide what you do? And of course, its all fun and fantasy. The virtual worlds have entered the lives of people and shredded off the boredom. A new era of computer games named "virtual world" has started showing its presence among the public. The major reason for attracting such a large amount of traffic has been its simplicity. These worlds simulate real life logic and rules into a computer simulation. This makes it intuitive and simple to learn. No professional gaming attitude, no time trials, no speed skills required, these games are pure fun. The users sign up and select or create an avatar for themselves on these internet based simulators. These avatars represent the user in the virtual world. Making new friends, building houses, travelling, partying, shopping etc. are some of the basic activities that users can do. Apart from all those day to day activities, the users can celebrate festivals and important days like the Valentine's day, Halloween etc. with old and new friends. They also allow the users to design new building, clothes and make pets. There are daily games and special events introduced to keep the fun going. Many of these virtual worlds allow free sign up and trial features. Most of them charge a small fee to access all the features available. The increasing popularity and features in these games will lead to a new era of role-playing games in near future. The virtual world has started taking over the real one.
