People who have decreased activity are also prone to have constipation. This is because when the person is very active, then the individual will have a lot of muscle activity and also energy needs. This is got from the digested food. When the person has decreased activity, then a lot of changes in the body takes place and this causes the individual to have more the food to be undigested for a long time and also causes the food to stay in the colon for a long time. All these factors cause constipation in a person with deceased activity levels.

5. Other factors:

There are also various other factors that can cause constipation in a person and these include factors like travelling, dehydration that causes the loss of water from the stools. It can also be caused by diseases of the colon or the rectum. There are also some people who have constipation because of the stress in work and various other psychological factors.

These are the various causes of constipation in a person. These causes can be easily modified or treated and this can cause the person to have decreased levels of constipation. There are some conditions that are very easily modified or rectified and others that cannot be easily rectified.
