Use of Bamboo in the villages of India

Bamboo is the biggest and tallest grass grown in the world and is used in the villages of India. In the villages of India, biggest grown bamboo is really a blessing of nature. In a very little place bamboo can grow very thick and tall. Bamboo is very helpful to the villages because this a in expensive way for them to build boarders around there homes and gardens in order to protect themselves aswell their cattle and pets from wild animals. Bamboo also forms strong gates for homes. Villagers in general have the skill of using bamboos in making many things. Bamboo is even used in making musical instruments. By making holes in the branches of bamboo, a musical instrument is being made which is known as flute. It was believed to be used by Lord Krishna.

In villages the tallest bamboos are also used as a tool to collect fruits from the trees. In villages we can see the tallest grown mango trees where it is very difficult to climb and collect the fruits. In such cases the tool created out bamboo help villagers to collect the fruits. Those tools are made stronger by keeping them in the sunlight and even used to collect the firewood from the branches tallest grown trees.

For many tribal communities preparing the things out of bamboo and selling it to the village people is the profession of their life. Their skill of managing to remove thorns of bamboo is really awesome. Even when there are very risky thorns in the bamboo, they manage to climb in those thin bamboos up to very high levels. They have learnt those skills from their ancestors. In total bamboo is a very useful grass in making the life of village people easy. It has become a major source of income for them. These days bamboo is also used for making furniture which is being used by people living is big cities. This furniture is mainly made by these villages and then sold in the big cities by them or through a mediator.
