Its a strange world out here, so many opportunities yet people are under employed or unemployed. There are so many jobs in the market yet people don't have jobs. Employers want experience, good personality, good looks, good communication skills, talent, etc. everything in the same candidate. A person does not get a job because he does not have experience, others do not get it because they do not look good. Corporate these days is becoming not a place just for talent; you should have what they call the 'X factor'. A M.B.A. these days is worth more than Rs. 10,000 in most of the organizations, even after a post grad. the person has to do what an under graduate can also do. Sales is one of the popular areas where M.B.A's work with undergrads or grads. So an M.B.A. do not have an edge in any way. So those who think M.B.A. is the ultimate solution to everything they should think again. Getting an opening these days is very difficult and crucial. A good start is very important for a good career. People still roam about giving 3-4 interviews a day and still go home disheartened and depressed about not being able to get a job, and it is not that they are not talented, just hard luck. Even people who are capable and efficient sit at there home in the depression that they are not worth anything. I have friends working in the corporate world and they themselves say that its a jungle, its the survival of the fittest. The people who can fit in can survive and its not easy because its cut throat competition, results is what matters. There is always someone who has an edge. All those who are looking forward to jobs, here's a tip- 'never compromise on your dreams'. Always follow your dreams and do something you really want to do, because everything else would be just a job whereas when you do something you really wanted to do it becomes a Dream a passion and you would always do good; and the other advise always think big and start from a reputed company.
