India is increasingly becoming the dream destination for tourists from all over the world. The main reason for this is the fact that India is home to some of the most beautiful places on Earth. There is also a cultural diversity in India that is unique to the country. Nowhere in the world is a single country with such diverse people with variations in language and culture. In this article I will tell you about some interesting facts and travel tips for tourists visiting India.

There is also all kind of tourist destinations in India. There are beaches for those who love the seaside. There are breathtaking mountains for those who like hiking or just to take a break from their hectic life. There are also many natural parks with different kinds of animals. For the spiritual, there are different temples, churches, mosques that have their own tradition and importance in their religion.

All these being present in a single country makes the prospect of visiting India more exciting. When people from other countries visit India, they might have a few adjustments to make. This article gives a few tips to help the tourists adjust better.

1. Population: The first thing that people notice about India is the huge population. For people who come to India hoping for a quiet holiday, it may not be very quiet. Even in remote places, it is not as less populated as one would expect.

2. Water: Water is now available in packaged bottles. For people from other countries, it is better to drink only this water as any other water may be contaminated and can lead to certain health problems.

3. Tour plan: Due to the increase in the number of domestic tourists and travelers, there is an increased booking of rooms. This has led to the problem of rooms not being available in good hotels. So for tourists who come from a far off place, it is always better to get the bookings done in advance to prevent last minute problems.

4. Food: The food in India can be spicy, especially in places like Andhra Pradesh. It would be better for tourists from countries where too much spice is not eaten, to eat at restaurants where the food is cooked according to the needs of the individual.

These are some of the basic travel tips that have to be kept in mind while traveling to India. Following these tips will ensure that the travel is an enjoyable time for the tourist. The varied culture will be like an elixir for the tourist and the person will be able to eave India as a rejuvenated person.
