1. Remember the reward: The pleasure of din is for a season, but the reward is eternal. Any person who falls into sinful behaviour may be able to be happy only for a few days, but for those who resist temptation, the reward is great. The person has peace of mind, which is an immediate reward.

2. Believe the evil of sin: Sin is evil and sinful nature is despicable. Each religion has different meanings for sin. All the religions believe that sinful behaviour is evil.

5. Care for your health: Temptation often comes in our weakest moments. When we are at the limit of our strength, patience, love and health, we are tempted by various forces. Most arguments and fights within the family occur when the spouses are tired and hungry. Getting enough sleep and eating good food helps us to fight and resist temptation.

6. Love God and your family: The best tactic to resist and overcome temptation is to think of God and the sayings of your religion against sin and sinful behaviour. Next think of your family who need all your love and support. This will keep you from sinning. It will also give you the strength to overcome the temptation and resist it.
