Electric heating machines have replaced the need to use fossil fuels to heat the water or the house when the climate drops down. The electric heating systems are of various types. These work on different principles based on the mechanism that is used in these machines.

There are some basic models in these types of heating machines and the differences are in the method that is used to heat the air. The variations and the types are the following.

1. Convection method of heating:

This is one of the commonest models that are used in heating. This method is used because it is very economical and also easy to use. This is the method of heating that is used in many houses. The principle on which this heating works is also very simple. The heating of the cold air occurs when the electrical energy is converted into heat energy. When the cool air gets heated up, the air rises up. This causes the cold air from the top to replace the heated air. Again this cool air gets heated up and the cycle continues. This method of heating the air is called as the convection method of heating.

2. The under floor heating:

The other method that is used to heat up the room is the under floor heating. In this method, the heat is emanated from a source that is usually a refrigerant agent. This causes the heat to spread to all parts of the room. This is a type of radiant heating. The under floor heating method is not commonly used in many buildings because the heating system has to be installed under the floor before the building is completely built.

3. Radiant heating:

This is the method of heating the room and also the building that is commonly used in many parts of the world. The usual method pf heating in this method is that there is a initial heating source that is present. This heat source gives out the heat that is converted from electricity. The heat that is given out from the radiating object. This heat is hen absorbed by the various other objects in the room. This method of heating is called as radiation. The radiating heat causes the heating of the room to a large extent. This is the reason for this method of heating the room to be more effective than all other methods of heating.

These are the various methods that are frequently used to make the room or the building heated up. There are many advantages of using these electric heaters over the many olden methods of heating the rooms. The reason for this is that this method of using electricity is cost effective and also environment friendly.

This is the reason for the increase in number of people all over the world using these methods. It is also cleaner and more efficient. It is also healthier than the conventional fire places. All these advantages make this method of heating the room to be the best.
