The recruitment of the lecturers is done through specified qualification. Many times the decision of the management is final in recruiting the college staff. The matter of their talent and knowledge is hardly considered. The management staff of colleges is only bothered about the profit of that the college makes. So they recruit the lecturers who are ready to work for less salary. Many times women lecturers are recruited simply for the reason they are good looking. The factors which effect the education and the life of the students are ignored. The profession of teaching has been a most honored profession is the epics of India. Teachers were respected with the name "Guru" in the Epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata etc. The teacher is the one who bestows the students with the knowledge to support their life. A student was the one who was most respected for the reason he is the one who in the process of knowledge or the "Gyan" as mentioned in the most honored epics of India. Students were very much loved and honored by their teacher who considered him to be a "Shishya". But in the modern trend, the teachers have been the people who do their duty of uttering the language printed in the text books to the students and think that their work has been done. They hardly bother about the life and career of the students. So the teachers should work towards maintaining their dignity in the society. The doing of wrong things like receiving bribes to permit the malpractice in the exams, selling question papers or selling certificates etc things should be stopped. They have to equip themselves with all the relevant knowledge and should support the students by providing the relevant knowledge for their career.
