The swine flu has been ruling the headlines strip ever since its severe outbreak, and this is the time when, people of the otherwise divided world are talking of the pandemic swine flu, in unison. This disease has already created its impact almost throughout the world.

The world might be enormous but it has already shown signs of desolateness having to fight with the invisible but deadly virus H1N1. UK, USA, France, Germany, India are few of the nations hit by the bug. The name itself suggests that the history of the virus pertains to pigs. Starting from the most developed countries to the ones that are least developed, H1N1 has not bestowed upon mercy to any.

Researchers predict that the spread of the already widespread disease is due for augmentation. Panic-stricken people in India are at their wits end. While the disease is a problem by itself, the people of India are cursed with other problems like lack of medical supplies that are necessary to tackle the flu and deficiency of hospitals authorized to treat swine flu.

While the media, capable of creating panic in the minds of people, are doing their jobs, the situation in India worsens with people terrorized and this time not by the bomb, but by something which is capable of blasting louder, H1N1. At the same time as many people are pulling through, some are succumbing to death. Some quick facts about swine flu which are recurrently displayed on the TV screen or on newspaper - Kids are more vulnerable to the disease, contact of any sort with infected persons, is to be avoided, measures to increase resistance should be avoided, almost 160 nations are fighting the flu, almost 135000 are infected and 816 dead with 6 deaths in India.
