The Various Barriers in Quality of Production in a CompanyBY: JoJustin | Category: Social Issues | Post Date: 2010-02-22
A company has to produce high quality products for the company to be successful in the business. There are various reasons due to which the quality in the company can be very poor. These poor quality products can cause various damages to the company itself by causing increased expenditure in replacing the various poor quality stuff. Other than this, the company may have to face legal action against it. All these cost a lot of time and effort. This can even cripple the company. To prevent all these problems, the company should ensure that there should be good quality to the various products that are manufactured. In spite of these problems, there are companies that produce poor quality products and they are due to the following factors. 1. Lack of resources: There is a lack of resources that is present which can cause the quality of the product in the company to be of poor quality. This is one of the very important barriers in the quality of various products. There are also times when the resources are present, but the resources are of very poor and sub standard quality. This poor quality of the various resources will cause the quality of the finished final product to be also of very poor quality. To prevent this and ensure good quality of the product, one has to make sure that the resources are available at all times and the resources that are available should also be of very good quality. If the company has to make do with the existing resources then the quality will suffer. 2. Personnel problems: The personnel problems of the employees are another cause of the decreased quality of the products that are produced in a company. The fact that there are many people who go to work in spite of various health, financial and personal problems is another factor. These people will not be able to concentrate a lot on their work and this again causes the quality of the product to be poor. To prevent this, the personnel working in the organization can be given counseling and also other kinds of support to the employees. This support will ensure that they are able to cope with their personal problems and this will ensure their co operation in the work and the quality of goods produced will also improve correspondingly. This is another barrier to good quality in the products. 3. Improper maintenance: The maintenance of the company is very important. The fact is that when the company is not maintained properly by the management, then it can cause the company to have products that are poor in quality. These also usually fail any quality checks that are done. So poor maintenance of the company is another barrier for the good quality products. 4. Absence of accreditation laws: This can also cause a lot of poor quality in the goods because accreditation will ensure that for the accreditation to continue, the company has to produce good quality products. If accreditation is not a criteria, even poor quality goods are produced without any need for good quality products.
