Teenage boys have become a center point of almost all the criminal activities happening in our country today. It is very unfortunate that the teenage boys who are supposed to pursue their studies in the schools and colleges are behind most crimes. The main reasons for an increase in the criminal activities among teenagers in India are as follows.

1. Lack of employment opportunities in the country. Growing children closely observe the difficulties faced by individuals who have completed their studies and are still not able to find a job. This demotivates them to concentrate in studies and start looking for alternatives to make money. Earning money by indulging in criminal activities is risky but easy.

2. Young people are often see the exploitation of common public by the politicians and other high class people. They often associate their problems as a direct result of these rich and powerful people. They think that these high class people have un-justfully molded things for their own personal advantage. So they think of solving those problems in anti-social ways.

3. Powerful criminals make use of the innocent growing children for getting their things done by brainwashing them. Underage criminals have many concessions in law, therefore powerful criminals take advantage of it. Another advantage of using underage criminals is to get their things done at cheaper cost. Teenage boys easily agree to commit the crimes for the desire of money.

4. Teenage boys are being influenced by the tempting and violent movies. Most of the movies coming in the regional languages make the concept of fighting as the only way to earn money and get justice. Teenage boys accept the heroes of such movies as their models and try to behave like them in the real life. I will tell you a relevant example, an incident from a recent Kannada movie. A teenage guy murders a person and announces his crime as an achievement and even gets appreciated for it. Sensor boards are just bothered about avoiding sexual scenes on the movies. But these criminal activities that influence youngsters to take up violent paths are not being banned by ht sensor boards.

So, in order to control the crime rates, we need to have control over the above mentioned points.
