Suicide rate in India has been increasing every year. Most of the Indians have agriculture as a way of earning. But because of the variation in the monsoon and variation in the market prices, agriculture has become like a gambling. Most of Indian farmers are poor and middle class people. They take the help of banks and other financial instructions to invest for the land to seed and nurture their crops.

But when there are variations and fluctuations in the rain fall and in market prices, farmer cannot repay the loans. He simply prolongs the loan by paying the interests. He may be expecting better rainfall and market price, to bear the interest and the loan amount. But if the fluctuations happen again, he would be fall in very much stress. He would not be in a position to bear the loan amount and he would not be in position to run the family also. In such situations farmers go for suicides.

Banks and financial institutions gained expertise in torturing the poor farmers in recollecting the loan amount by hook or by crook. Generally, farmers are less educated. So they feel very much frustrated by the legal clauses lectured by the people of banks and financial institutions. Even the people of banks and financial institutions, exaggerate the things to make them return the loan amount. So it makes them to feel more stress and to go for suicide.

The counter effect of the suicide of farmers is very bad. They do not afford to have the insurances. So their families would get into trouble in leading their life. So the government should take the measures to solve these problems of the farmers.
