Let us see what is meant by stress and how to manage it. From the child of 3 years to aged person now talk about tension and stress. In the olden days, everybody was leading a simple life and the chances for getting worried was limited. Now, even the small child has got many engagements and activities. So, stress due to tension is unavoidable. We all know that the health will be spoiled due to stress. If an individual has got the capacity of understanding and withstanding any situation, stress management becomes very easy. What is stress management? Stress management is balancing the demands with available resources. When this balance is dropped and the pressure exceeds one's ability to cope up, that ends in stress. Let us see what is the first lesson in stress management. The foremost thing is to find out the cause of stress. When the feelings of negativity and insecurity enters the mind of a person, definitely that results in stress. When a person approaches a problem with quite mind, inner wisdom and common sense, the stress can be managed successfully. What is stress management technique? The pre-planning and effective time management helps a lot in stress management. Moreover, we should not be 100 percent sure to succeed while performing a task. There is a little chance for failure also. If we predict correctly and ready to face any situation, stress management can be done effectively. The correct technique of stress management comprises of time management, regular exercise, meditation, deep breathing, relaxing in between the hard work, engaging the mind in hobbies and having the mind of accepting any failure/negative results. Well, how to find out that one person is having stress and stress management is essential for him. The sudden rise in blood pressure, committing mistakes while doing routine works, getting tired often , pain throughout the body and unnecessary shouting temptation are the symptoms of stress. Stress management techniques help one to control of the tension and stress and to be a healthier, happier and more pleasant person to be around. The advice of stress managers help a person to come out from stress. When the mind is filled with positive thoughts, there is no room for stress. Some people imagine that some bad things may happen and their stress level will increase. Most of these things never happen and why should they waste their energy that results in stress. Some people have stress occasionally, while attending interview, meeting, catching flight, while working with deadline targets etc. Everybody should identify the events causing stress and take preventive measures to safeguard against it. The prolonged stress is a serious condition may result in illness. One has to find out the cause for stress and make honest assessments whether stress is related to his home and family, work or other relationship. He can share his feelings and thoughts with persons who are close to him. We can simplify our life and avoid involving activities which cause stress and follow effective stress management techniques to enjoy all happiness in life.
