Stock market's uncertain times: Trader market vs investor marketBY: money | Category: Business and Finance | Post Date: 2008-08-29
India Stock Market: Aug 2008 We are probably not at the bottom but we are probably close to the lower end of the market. whatever it is, but try to stay away from this kind of scenario. It has become trader's market rather than investor's market. Markets have become so critical that general investors should be away from here. In a bull market, success is measured by how fast and reliably your wealth builds. Bear markets have a somewhat different benchmark for performance: holding on to what you have. And that's become increasingly difficult this summer. As any experienced investor has found out, the only way to completely avoid losses in a down time is to go 100 percent cash. If you are playing in margin then creating well to sink. Better to be in cash or stay away from market. Political uncertainties can push the market in any direction. And, that's going on in India. So, keep patience and wait for right time. Markets are ovewhelmed with bad news. Any time, any news can push down the market. So, better to stay away.
