Stay Fit - How to keep yourself in good shape without going to the Gym

This article shows simple ways to stay physically and mentally fit by doing your daily routine apart from going to the GYM. Diseases and obesity are becoming a common phenomena. Today, everyone is becoming a fitness freak, especially in big towns where there are increased levels of stress due to the fast pace of life.

Staying fit is the mantra, Gyms are mushrooming. Now fitness is more of a SHOW than CARE. Here are some simple ways to be physically and mentally fit by just doing your daily routine which is free of charge. Yeah, you do not have to go to the Gym.

1. To stay fit - Care.
In the acts where you express care towards your near and dear ones, to fulfill your responsibilities, your body will automatically get its required exercises.

2. Be always willing and helpful to others.

3. Do your small personal chores and home by yourself.

4. Be a little more caring towards your society and Mother Nature. You will find enough natural exercises in such acts to stay fit. Tree plantation or cleaning your house and its surroundings is a good start.

5. Shape your spirits through your enthusiasm and positive emotions.
If your body is in shape, it will win you attention and recognition but when your spirit is high it will win you joy and ecstasy.
Shape your spirits with meditating twice daily.

6. Walk up stairs to your office or apartment building once a day. (Please do climb if you are a heart patient or stay on 2nd floor or above). But apply common sense at the same time.

7. Clap whole-heatedly when appreciating someone.

8. Re-arrange your home every 6 months.

9. Sell off the things you haven't used in the last 6 months.

10. Don't keep a clutter around you or else your mind will be cluttered.

Creativity and efficiency of a person will be hindered due to ill-health of the physical and mental well being.
