The examples of colleges / universities can be modified as needed. ) ******************************************* Having completed the Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from IIT-REC College of Engineering (India) and 9 years of work experience in software technology industry, I am prepared to further deepen and refine my expertise through graduate studies which has led me to take admission in one of the best universities, Berkeley-Stanford University, California (United States). The four year engineering program at IIT-REC College of Engineering included a broad range of electronics and computer science courses. I completed it in year 2002 and secured a consistent first class in all eight semesters. Pursuing a degree in Master of Science in Computer Information Systems will tremendously help to strengthen my knowledge of computer systems, enhancement of my software oriented career and boost my self confidence. IIT-REC College of Engineering is among the top colleges of India. IBM- Solutions Inc. is among nation's largest provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) services and credit management services. My responsibilities include the development and maintenance of the Online Customer Portal and Employee Portal using SAP/Oracle CRM so the customers can submit the accounts for processing, generate reports and track performance. PIMCO Global Investors is leading investment banking company in the domestic and international stock markets. My responsibilities included programming and implementing of the company's proprietary rating system for stocks, performance reports and system security. Our-Real-Estate-Example.com is a site made for ABC Construction Company placed in Dubai and India. I was involved in the interfacing of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) section for locating real estate. After having looked at your web site and consultation with my supervisors and an ex-student of Berkeley-Stanford University, I found that this would be the best place to continue my quest for knowledge and excellence. My objective for a master's degree is to get involved in such a course which could help me in achieving my goals. I believe that a career in such a field in an intellectually stimulating academic environment will offer me an excellent way to contribute my bit to the life long process of development and dissemination of knowledge. I am fully aware of the kind of dedication and hard work needed, and I am confident of meeting the challenges. I believe that I have the necessary background and ability to benefit from the teaching activities being carried out at Berkeley-Stanford University. (If you are already in the country, then ..)
