Spreading AIDS intentionally - Transmitting HIV virus knowingly

AIDS is a deadly virus and if one tries to spread the AIDS virus intentionally,it is a big social crime. Laws in each country are different therefore there is no standard way in dealing with the offenders. Spreading AIDS knowingly is like stabbing someone to death over the course of time. Majority of cases where AIDS is spread intentionally is when someone does unprotected sex with his partners. In extreme cases some people may be so frustrated that they prick an AIDS infected needle to someone else. In other cases a person may try to donate blood even when he knows about his condition. There have been cases where people has unprotected sex with prostitutes, and in he morning when they woke up, they found a note on the wall saying "Welcome to the world of AIDS".AIDS virus may spread by accidentally but if one transmits it intentionally or purposely, it is extremely shameful.

MARRYING A HIV POSITIVE PERSON:
Doing marriage even if one knows that he already has AIDS, and not disclosing to his/her fiancée is also a social crime. You have basically cheated your partner even before your married life has started. It is a very practical and good idea for both partners to have AIDS test done before marriage.

SOME REASONS WHY PEOPLE SPREAD AIDS VIRUS INTENTIONALLY:

* There have been cases around the world when people lost their job or ditched by their love or as a result of discrimination from society or co-workers. These people may try to take back their revenge on the society in general. As a society, we should be very practical when dealing with someone who has AIDS virus. AIDS/HIV does not spread just be touching, talking, breathing in the same room and through most other general working conditions. People should never believe rumors and myths surrounding how the AIDS virus spreads.

* Some people who do this, may be suffering from a severe mental condition, and they may not be even aware about it. I am not sure if we can treat them as innocent (probably not).

* Some people who feel that they have been losers in their life, the news that they have AIDS may just be just their tripping point.

* On the other hand there may be individuals who may think so proud about themself that they will refuse to change their lifestyle because they have AIDS now. For example some people who have too much money may think that they can buy unprotected sex like they have done in the past.

* Nothing to lose now mentality: Many people who know that now they are infected with AIDS virus may now participate in unprotected sex because they feel there is nothing for them to lose and might as well enjoy the life to the fullest even if it means that others get infected.

* Sometimes people hide because they have a fear of losing someone. For example, AIDS is relatively more common among gays, they may not disclose their condition to their current or possible partner because of the fear of losing them.

* Sharing and reusing syringes contaminated with HIV-infected blood represents a major risk for infection with HIV. Some intravenous drug users may not want to disclose with the fear of being expelled by other members.

* Other reasons

Every few years one should get their blood test done to check whether or not they have AIDS.

What happens when one has AIDS:
AIDS virus or acquired immune deficiency syndrome is a multifaceted killer disease where the where body's immune system is slowly destroyed and leaves individuals susceptible to opportunistic infections and tumors. It usually spreads by exposure certain bodily fluids from a person who already has AIDS virus. HIV affects nearly every organ system. The transmission of the virus from the mother to the child can sometimes occur in the last weeks of pregnancy and at childbirth.
