Social service is a good initiative and should be prevented from misuse by corrupt individuals. There are many people who get involved in this field, even professional courses are now offered at universities about social service. The concept is is really great, but nowadays the concept of social service misuse has been increasing quite a bit. I could hear news about a team of people were collecting fund in the name of social service and they were using the fund for their own personal use. These like incidents would lead to losing of faith in the minds of people about the organizations which are genuinely involved in social service. Social services and the fund raising programs are necessary to support the orphanages and the organizations who are involved in the upliftment of the deserved class of people. Without the help of donors, these like social services cannot continue. Even we have the ideal practices of donating the award amounts, extra earnings etc. The incidents of fake collections would really discourage these like practices. So we need to have all the organizations get registered under low. The government should take the measures to prevent social service misuse by these fake organizations and dishonest people. Without registration, there should not be a provision to raise the funds from the donors. If any fake collections have been found, the strict actions have to be taken against such people. After all, protecting the interest of the actual social service organization should be the motto of us. It is advisable that, if anybody wants to join the social service organization, they could prefer the NGOs registered at international like Rotary club, Lions club, junior chambers etc. We cannot tolerate social service misuse by some individuals who in turn damage the image of whole industry.
