I have been writing articles for the last "N" number of years and it is really not just about money, its passion, hobby, it's the ability to express oneself and an unknown audience of virtual friends who come and read your thoughts through your articles. I use to have my own blog at one point but it seemed that even though my articles were Ok, no one came to read them. It basically got lost in the pool of millions of websites+blogs on the internet. For a while I was writing articles on ezinearticles.com but soon enough that website became so huge that the day they published my article, by the evening it was on the 2-3th page already even on the subcategory page. I again felt the "sinking" feeling, there was no individuality left, the site seemed to be a spamming website for people hungry for backlinks. I still like ezinearticles, but they need to filter the articles they receive. From the last few months, I have been writing for this website. I like the way they personally scan your articles, alter "title" for better search engine optimization, make important portions bold/italic, and even correct any spelling mistakes. One thing I have to say is that they are "overly" strict about copying even small contents from elsewhere on the internet in your articles. I had personally emailed webmaster why they spend so much time doing that, their reply was: "We believe that our success is tied to yours. Sometimes we give a brief formatting/touch-up your articles based on our understanding.".. ..I was SOLD !! Even with small number of articles this website has a good Alexa ranking. I also like their idea of Google Adsense revenue sharing, even though it's not much for small number of articles but atleast some reward is better than nothing. I guess if someone is serious and submits good articles regularly, he/she can actually make pretty good money over time. I often read articles submitted by other users and pass on my comments to them with the help of webmaster (using "Contact us" link) I would like to see some enhancements in this website - Ability to include images and ability to create profile. I understand why comments are not allowed (because of spamming). Most comments received on articles these days are related to Viagra and other marketing. I would still like to have comments enabled at some point. My message to webmaster of this website: Since I have given a fairly good review of your website .. You need to pay for my next vacation .. kidding !! :D .. happy writing Follow up reply from webmaster: a) Thanks .. b) Write more articles, earn more money, fund your own vacation, come back and then write quietly write more articles about your trip.. kidding too !! :D ..
