There is saying, "Give a man a fish,he will come on the next day also.Instead teach a man how to fish,he will become self earner" In the system of reservation we are giving the fish,instead of teaching then to fish. Reservation is the factor which discourages people from working hard. The people who have been promised of reserved job will not work hard, thinking that, "If I work hard or not, I will get a job, because it has been reserved for me". A person who is not under reserved category will not work hard, thinking that "even if I work hard,there is no guarantee that I will get a job, because it is reserved for some body else and it is not my cup of tea. In India,if you want to come forward,you need to be a "backward". But the fact is,you can never strengthen the weak by weakening the strengths. So what we need is competitive and equality oriented system. Let me ask one thing, if we place the incompetent people in the vital roles of business, just because they are from the reserved category, won't our production quality come down?, won't India lose its market in international level. Everything just because of reservation? Recently UP state government announced reservation in hospital ICU. Imagine a possible situation of a higher cast person met with an accident and in critical condition and when he has been takn to hospital,he couldn't be taken to ICU, just because it has been reserved. Is it fair to argue that the older generations of a community has not given importance and value in the society and for that reason the present people of that community has to be given reservation? So when nobody deserves reservation,why should there be reservation? So shall we all go with the motto of equality? because, Equality is everybody's opportunity Equality is everybody's property Equality brings unity in diversity Equality brings integrity Equality is humanity,and Equality is divinity.
