Quality and Operations are two roots of corporate ladder. So one may be feeling a bit confused in the beginning his career, whether to go for quality root or in operations root. But one has to decide the way, by analysis, his strengths and weakness. Below are tips about how to decide whether 'quality' way is feasible or 'operations' way is feasible for you. The 'Quality' root is feasible for one, 1. Who has good analytical skill. 2. Who is good at calculations and statistics. 3. Who has been performing with good quality. 4. Who has exposures to the presentation skill. 5. Who has the patience of working hard. 6. Who has very good memory power. 7. Who has good grasping power. 8. Who can cope up with mentoring people. The 'Operation' root would be feasible for one 1. Who has good leadership skill. 2. Who has good communication skill. 3. Who is a good team player. 4. Who can handle the conflicts and crisis. 5. Who has got the support of the team. 6. Who is ready to put extra efforts. 7. Who is very creative. 8. Who can justify the things. 9. Who has good boldness and courage. 10. Who has maintained good respect in the team. If a person is choosing a field after deep analysis of his strength and weaknesses, he can excel in that field, provided he makes use of those qualities with him. If a field has been chosen once, one should not look back. If one has to change the field, he or she has to start from the beginning. So the time he or she had spent in another field will not be of much use. So, one should be very careful while choosing the path, about whether to go for quality or operations.
