Quality Assurance: How QA Affects the Various Aspects of a CompanyBY: SEdwin | Category: Social Issues | Post Date: 2010-02-24
Quality assurance is a very important part of the company. This is because quality matters a lot more then the quantity of products that are produced in any company. There are various methods that can be employed by any company to make sure that the quality is improved. These factors that are usually helpful in increasing the quality in a company are as follows. 1. Raise quality of work: If the quality of the work that is done by the individual employees is taken to a higher level, then the quality assured by the company will be more than that which was present previously. This is one of the basic methods of improving the quality. The reason for this is that if the employees are not the best and they do not do real hard work, then the quality of the products manufactured by the company becomes less. If the quality of the work is increased, there is also a chance for fewer mistakes. The work is done at a quicker pace, but without compromising on the quality. The employees also have better consistency and reliability in the work they do. 2. Lower costs, higher productivity: There is an increased productivity of the employees, but at the same time, the cost is lower. This is the best model of a company and the profitability will increase without compromising on the quality of the products. 3. More satisfied clients: As the quality of the various activities in the company increases, there are more satisfied clients and there will also be fewer complaints from all quarters. As the satisfaction levels increase, there is a chance of more income from fees. There can also be an increase in the number of clients too. 4. Better Reputation and image: There is a chance of a better reputation for the company and the image of the company also becomes better in the eyes of people. This will again increase the amount of business done by the company. In fact many companies aim to achieve this through various means and by providing quality services to the customers. 5. More satisfied staff: As the quality in the company increases and improves, there is a increase in the satisfaction of the employees in the company too. This is a chain reaction that occurs and the employees of the company make more pride in work and they seem to have more Energy. As the quality increases, there is a higher expectation that is present on the staff. As the employees are more satisfied, there will be less number of people leaving their jobs at various periods of time. This again will help to lower recruitment costs, less absenteeism. All these facts will help to lower the various costs that are incurred by the company. 6. Motivation is high: The motivation of the employees is high and there is more interest in improving quality. More funds are also available to further invest in improving quality. So quality is a chain reaction and once good quality is the criteria, there is further improvement again and again till the company becomes the best.
