A good leader is the one who can get the things done by his team, with the optimum support from them. A leader should gain the support of the team, not in force. But it should come from the heart of the team. The leader should have such motivation skills to get the support from the team. Enforcing the power to get the things done cannot work for long duration. That would make the team to work without interest, that too for small duration. We saw many autocrat leaders in the history who ruled the people as per their wish. But they could not be the successful leaders. The democrat leader is one, who takes the opinion of the people before taking any decision. That would really encourage the team members to support the leader. That would bring the feeling of involvement to the team members. But if a leader is taking his own decision without consulting the team members, and if he is just enforcing that to the team, that would really bring the disobedience kind of reactions in the team. In the history we have seen many democrat leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Abraham Lincoln etc people who have gained the support of the people and achieved the miracles. We should make them as the examples to follow. There is a traditional definition of management that -The management is what a manager does-. But that concept is nowhere relevant. Even if applied, won't stay for long time. So the management should be taken as an art of getting the whole hearted support from the team to get the things done by them.
