Child labor is one of the severest scourges of your society, and we've come to silently bear it without creating any noise about it. A child laborer not just loses his/her childhood, but also has his/her perspective about the world totally misshapen. It's high time we realized that cost of child labor is far more expensive than that of education, and sometimes we'll not be able to bear it. Don't we all agree that 'Education is the cheapest form of defense ! Heard not the chirping of the birds, Felt not an iota of love…. Rumbling of the factories, Rattling of the wheels, We do hear not any more! Jus' four hours of slumber a day, Not to speak of the hours, we weep away… With the machines and masters, to sway (us) We pass the remaining part of the day. Irascible, our masters are, Their hearts harder than their machines, Brandishing us with ferrules and cane, Until our energy is on the wane! None can soothe our agonized hearts, None can pacify our tormented souls! Amid the deafening noise, amid the blinding smokes Upon the Almighty, we bind our hopes!! O Ye God! Are we born to be whipped? We are, in the buds, thus nipped!!! No more do we need masters, very hostile, But tender hearts that could smile a while! No longer could we, such torments bear, We long for selfless souls that really care!! All that we need is mental peace and solace An immediate remedy from this physical menace. Don't let our yearnings turn into yelps, Soon extend a hand, that really helps...
