When the child learns to speak, the first word comes from his/her mouth is -mom-. The mom-daughter/mom-son relationship starts when a woman conceives a child. The mother spends all the time with the new born baby. The mom feeds the child, teaches the child to talk, walk, play and perform activities. The mother sings all the rhymes and studies all the lessons along with the child, when he/she starts going to the school. The bonding between mom-daughter is more strong than the bondage between mom-son. When a boy grows up, he moves away from mom and calls her only when he needs something. But, a daughter likes the company of mom, after growing up also. The daughter develops some sort of friendship with mom as both of them belong to same gender. The daughter may express freely her feelings to mom than to dad. The mom has the capacity to see everything in the daughter's position and act accordingly. The mother is the first person to find out the hidden talents in her daughter. Similarly, she takes the liberty to correct the bad habits of her daughter, before others notice them. The daughter gets the unconditional love from her mother. The girls like to share their feeling and the happenings in the school/college with the mom. The daughter likes to imitate the characteristics of her mom that is very much liked by the mom also. The daughter joins her mom in the kitchen in cooking and doing other household works, which fills the heart of the mother with immense joy. The daughter like the company of the mother while doing shopping and choosing things for her. The mom helps daughter in her works. Many moms and daughters feel much happy to take photos, visit tourist spots and enjoy together. The daughter learns to be kind to others and help them, through her mom. The mother always wishes her daughter should get everything which is denied to her. The mother is ready to sacrifice anything for her daughter. When the daughter becomes ill, the mother will be sitting by her side near the bed and giving care all the time, until she recovers fully. At the marriageable age, the mother prays to God all the time and wishes that her daughter should get a good life-partner. In some families, it may happen that the mother and daughter may not be having good relationship and behave like strangers, even though they live in the same house. They themselves should try to sort out the differences or other family members should help them to do so. When a girl becomes a woman, there will be some changes in her and the mom is the fittest person to know them and make her cool. The girls at teens need some comfort from their moms, as they are in an emotional state. The relationship between a mom and a daughter is sacred and the mother should always be ready to listen to the daughter with open heart. The mother should feel proud that the daughter feels comfortable with her, trusts mom than anybody else in the world and the mother should not break it on any account. The mother should develop and maintain good communication with the daughter, as the bondage between them is life long. The mother has to give honest reply to the questions of her daughter always. The mother should make the daughter feel that she could come to mom for guidance, help or just a lap to lay her head on and relax. There is only one mother for everybody in the world and nobody can substitute her. The daughter could understand well the feelings of a mother, when she becomes a mom. The daughter inherits the qualities of her mother. She should thank her mother on the mother's day, for making her to walk in the path of success, bearing all the hurdles by herself. Let us wish that the mom-daughter relationship should be ever green for every body in the world.
