Methods of earning money from your website using Google Adsense.BY: Deena David | Category: Technology and Computers | Post Date: 2009-07-29
The growth of the internet, with thousands of pages being added on to the internet is also due to the popularity of Adsense. There are new websites being created everyday. Some are created for reasons as varied from service providing and other such activities. The reason for other websites is to earn money. Earning money using websites have become easier because of Google Adsense. Google Adsense is an advertising programme where you can allow advertisements on your website. Google pays money in return if some of the visitors to your website click on these advertisements. The amount of money paid on each click for the website owner depends on: 1. The amount paid by the company that is advertised in the website. Some companies pay a lot more than other companies. Some companies pay as little as $0.1. Others pay even $10 or more per click. 2. The traffic that is being generated by the website or the web page. The more the traffic in the web page, the more the amount of money paid into the Adsense account. 3. The season in which the advertisement was clicked. Sometimes, during Christmas season, the advertisements related to Christmas are paid more than when the same advertisement is clicked in other seasons. Criteria for payment: 1. Each person can have only one Adsense account. Even if a person has more than one website that has advertisements by Google Adsense, the money can be paid into a single Adsense account. 2. The website owner should not click on their own website. This will cause the Adsense account to be cancelled. Even by mistake the person should not click on the advertisements on their own web page. Google has a method of tracking the clicks and where it is clicked. 3. Verification: Verification of the postal address will be done by Google sending a letter with a code, once the account has a particular amount of money in it. Once the verification id done, then payment will be made if the Adsense account accumulates hundred dollars or more. Google Adsense is a very easy method of earning money on the website for people who own websites. There are various sites that are dedicated to only earning with Adsense. The traffic to a website can be increased by having Search Engine Optimized content in the website.
