Computers are being used in all business establishments. There seems to be no house that is without a computer. Within a span of a few decades, the world has been changed so much that everything works with the computer. The computer has revolutionized the world with the changes and impact it has made in the way we live and also in the way we look at life. Life has become faster and the speed is increasing more and more each day. Work has become simple too and effective with decreased time spent on various activities.

In spite of all the speed of various activities, our computers at times get slowed down due to various reasons. The most common reasons for the slowing of our computers are the increase in the number of viruses and malware that have been downloaded onto the computer. This article gives a few important methods that will help you to get your computer back to its original speed and also get your life back on track.

1. Delete unwanted files:

The first and best thing to do is clean up your computer. We are used to cleaning our houses very often and the same should also be done to the computer that you are using regularly. This is because when you get your computer files deleted when you do not want them, it I just like cleaning your house of its clutter. The unwanted files not only take up space, but also get you confused and search for more important files. When you delete unwanted files, it will help you save a lot of time and also speed up your computer.

2. Defragment your system:

This is nothing but getting all the important files together so that it clears the space and prevents various files taking up space in your computer's hard disk. This defragmentation should be done at regular intervals to increase the speed of your computer.

3. Clean your computer with antivirus software:

The virus in the files that get downloaded from various places including removable drives, internet and even e mails are all corrupting your system and getting your computer to slow down. To prevent this, you should clean your computer with antivirus software regularly. You should also get your computer to be regularly updated with antivirus software. This regular updates will help to delete any new viruses that may affect your computer and slow your system.

4. Delete unwanted programs:

There are many programs that we download at certain times when we use the computer. These programs are rarely used after one time which is the first time. All these unwanted programs eat up the space on the disk. Removing and uninstalling these programs from the computer will also increase the space in the computer and also speed up your computer considerably.

5. Increase RAM space:

Even after all the above activities are done, there is still a decrease in the speed of your computer; you should probably look at the RAM space in your computer. This is especially true if your computer is quite old. The RAM space if less can slow down the computer and increasing the space will help to get your computer to go fast again.
