We often happen to travel on a long journey on a bus or train. Generally people hate the long journey because people get bored and tired since they have nothing to do. So how to make your next journey interesting? Here are some suggestions to make your next long trip more interesting and do a better time pass.

1. You can carry compact music systems like i-Pod, Walkman, Mobile phones with the music players etc. Listening music is a great way to entertain and pass time in a long journey.

2. You can carry some magazines of your choice or buy newspapers or novels. You may read these not only to do a better time pass but also keep yourself entertained.

3. You can carry some food items which you like most. That would give you the enjoyment too.

4. Introduce yourself to your co-passenger and start chatting with him or her. There is a good chance that your fellow passenger is also looking to do time pass.

5. Have the practice of enjoying the nature when the bus or train passes through places which have beautiful and scenic surroundings.

6. Initiate something with fun, for the passengers.

7. If nothing else .. SLEEP!

While going for long journey, it is better to try a friend to get along with you. It is also advisable to prefer the journey during the night. One would pass the time by sleeping. Even the fact is, one would not get tired in the journey during the night. In the luxury class journey, one may sleep as good as he sleeps on the bed.

In a long journey, I got to know a guy. Both were chatting throughout the journey. When we reached the place where we had to go, he said me, "let us be here for some more time". Even I was happy for it. We had our breakfast together. He really becomes a good friend of mine. So, in a long journey, you may even develop good friendship with the co-passengers. Instead of taking the long journey as a headache and going in costly flights, one would make the long road journey interesting.
